2018 Form 1040 Overview

A review of the 2018 tax form 1040.   Major changes to this form occurred because of the TCJA Tax Cuts and Jobs Act adding Schedule 1, Schedule 2, Schedule 3, Schedule 4, Schedule 5, Schedule 6.  This is the first year that this tax form was used in this format and continues to be used today.  Prior to 2018 the 1040 tax form and schedules were very different.
